The walking moulding ORION machine is a state-of-the-art machine whose design as well as technical solutions, are compliant with the modern standards, applied throughout the world for similar types of machines.
The ORION machine is intended for producing various types of concrete elements, such as: concrete blocks, structural-wall tiles, structural-floor tiles, formwork blocks, chimney blocks, ventilating blocks, channel drain units, openwork elements, lawn edges, kerbs, planter elements as well as other elements of small architecture.
Machine frame, made of box profiles, is exceptionally stable. The way the mould and the punches are fixed prevents their swinging and transferring the vibrations onto the main body of the machine. Isolating the vibrations from the charging hopper protects the mass from unwanted vibration.
There are 6 vibrators fixed in the machine which provide excellent vibrations, and the quality of produced elements at the same time. Driving mechanism of the ORION machine is powered by a hydraulic engine. Gentle start-up and immediate stopping is carried out by the hydraulic system. All moving elements of the ORION machine are hydraulically driven. The pressure of the punch is carried out steplessly. The change of the driving direction is performed by the pulled-out fifth hydraulic wheel that is perpendicular to the driving direction of the machine. The application of polyurethane lining of wheels, with the increased abrasibility class, protects the ground against damage and eliminates the necessity to use steel roads.
The high moulding range should be paid some attention as it allows for the production of a comprehensive range of elements. The use of exchangeable moulds as well as the machine design allow for the quick and economic adjustment of production to both the changing demand on the market as well as particular customer requests. Thanks to that the change of demand on the market does not force the company to buy a new moulding machine, and only boils down to the change of the mould.
The machine operates in automatic and manual cycles. The control system is constructed on the basis of a compact, quick Mitsubishi industrial controller FX series, cooperating with the operation panel. The system ensures, among other things, full and quick adjustment of times of the moving elements of the machine, saving cycle parameters for each mould, and visualization of sensors’ condition.
Our offer also includes supplementary devices designed for the cooperation with walking machines. They are as follows:
Machine operation: | 1 person |
Cycle time: | ~30-40 sec. |
Maximum length of the mould: | 1080 mm |
Maximum width of the mould: | 1330 mm |
Maximum height of the mould: | 550 mm |
Minimum height of the mould: | 120 mm |
Capacity of the batch drawer: | 380 l |
Capacity of the batch basket: | 2,2 m3 |
Capacity of oil container: | ~190 l |
Installed power: | 29,9 kW |
Efficiency: | ~ 6000 – 12000* items/8h |
Maximum size (height x width length): | 3990 x 2890 x 3735 mm |
* depending on the size of moulded elements.
